The Power Of An Invitation (March 2007) ...

There is power in the spoken word, especially when it is in the form of an invitation. God invited Abraham out of his tent to look up and see his destiny,(his descendants as massive & vast as the stars of heaven and the sands of the seashore.) Abraham accepted the invitation and became the Father of entire nations.

Elijah invited a widow woman who was baking a last meal for herself & her son to give to him first & trust God to provide. She accepted the invitation and she & her son saw the miraculous provision of God.

Jesus extended an invitation to 12 men to follow Him and the turned the world upside down for the Kingdom Andrew invited his brother Peter to come & meet Christ & he became the one who stood up on the Day of
Pentecost & 3,000 people were saved.

Invitations are powerful when extended. Stastics show that 1 in 4 people will attend church if invited. Let us extend invitations to people and see what God will do with our obedience of an extended invitation.
